Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County in Santa Rosa, CA

Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County is a cat rescue based in Santa Rosa, California, about 50 miles south of San Francisco. Founded in 1990, it is the longest-running Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) organization and spay/neuter clinic in the country, having altered close to 50,000 unowned cats to date. Its mission is to spay and neuter every unowned cat in Sonoma County, while also providing medical care for sick and injured cats and placing adoptable cats and kittens—including tame adults from feral colonies and formerly feral kittens socialized by volunteer foster parents—directly into permanent homes. Sonoma County is also home to 15 other animal shelters and rescues.
