Adoption Process

The adoption process consists of several key steps: 1. Submission of an adoption application. 2. Completion of a home check. 3. Signing of an adoption contract. 4. Payment of a non-negotiable adoption fee, which ranges from $200 to $300. The adoption fee covers various essential aspects: - Medical care: All animals from 4Life are up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, and are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and treated for fleas. In certain cases, some rescues may require extensive medical treatment to ensure their health. We prioritize the well-being of our animals and will not pass on significant medical expenses to the adopting family. However, the adoption fee helps us recover some of these costs. - Supplies: The fee also contributes to providing food, leashes, collars, treats, blankets, toys, and grooming products. - Additional care: In some instances, animals may need boarding or enrollment in a training program. While these costs will not be transferred to the adopting family, a portion of your adoption fee will assist in covering these expenses.

Our mission encompasses adoption, education, training, and rehabilitation services to ensure that unwanted and neglected animals receive the lifelong care they deserve. We advocate for responsible pet ownership and offer prevention and intervention services to families facing financial hardships, helping them keep their pets as part of the family.
