We also evaluate their reactions to various situations, checking for issues such as nipping, fear of sudden movements, excessive jumping, sensitivity to touch, and destructive chewing behaviors. Medical screening includes deworming, ensuring the dogs are current on vaccinations, free of parasites and contagious diseases, treating any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirming that they are healthy within manageable limits.
