Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an adoption application. Within one to three days, we will contact you to inform you whether your application has been accepted. Following approval, we will arrange for an introduction between you, your current dogs (if applicable), and the NSLB dog you are interested in adopting. If the introduction is successful, we will conduct a home visit, and you will need to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee, which ranges from $150 to $250 depending on the age of the dog. Once these steps are completed, you will welcome a new family member into your home.

Our team works diligently to rescue stray dogs we encounter on the streets, providing them with a safe and loving environment until they are placed in forever homes. Our organization experiences a continuous flow of dogs coming in and out, highlighting the ongoing need for our services. Additionally, we strive to educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering pets. Even if you are not in the market for a dog, your support through donations of dog food (specifically PetSmart's Authority brand), monetary contributions, blankets, and spreading the word to friends can significantly aid our mission. The more homes we find for these dogs, the more we can rescue.
