About this shelter

Unconditional Love Animal Rescue in Los Gatos, CA

We are a small rescue organization established in 1999 by two teachers after a stray cat appeared at one of our doorsteps. Since receiving our 501(c)(3) status, we have rescued over 1,400 animals from euthanasia lists at local shelters. Our focus is exclusively on rescuing animals from these lists; we do not accept public surrenders. All rescued animals are fostered in homes rather than kept in cages. We conduct weekly adoption fairs at local Pet Food Express stores and provide assistance with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts. Additionally, we offer financial support for spaying and neutering, particularly for special needs rescue animals. Our primary goal is to save and alter cats in our community, as our local shelter has a 90 percent euthanasia rate for cats and receives approximately 14,000 intakes each year, highlighting the urgent need for our services. We are passionate about our work, cherish the relationships we build with the people we meet, and have formed lasting friendships with many of our adopters. Animals truly connect us to the best aspects of life.
