ResQ Animal Coalition is a non-profit animal welfare organization based in Redding, California, dedicated to saving lives through collaboration and outreach. While our primary focus is on the rescue of small dogs and parrots, we actively seek life-saving alternatives for all animals that come to us. We have successfully rescued and rehabilitated many indigenous birds and mammals. We believe that every pet, regardless of the circumstances that led to their abandonment, deserves a safe and loving home.

Adoption process

The adoption fees vary based on the specific needs of the animal. To begin the process, a pre-application must be completed on our website and submitted via email. Next, a phone interview will be conducted. We will also contact references provided by the applicant. A home visit may be arranged if necessary, followed by an in-person interview. Finally, an adoption contract will need to be signed.

Service area: We serve all of Shasta, Tehama, Siskiyou, and Trinity counties, as well as individuals who are willing to travel to meet our animals.
