Adoption Process

The adoption fees are as follows: For animals aged between 12 weeks and 6 months, the fee is $350. For those between 6 months and 1 year old, the fee is $250. For animals aged 1 year to 6 years, the fee is $200. For animals older than 6 years, the fee is $150.

The Furever Project in Spotsylvania, VA

We are a nonprofit organization staffed entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate when necessary, and rehome dogs of all breeds and mixes, without restricting our support to specific breeds. We also offer care for terminally ill dogs, providing them the opportunity to live in a loving foster home rather than facing euthanasia. In addition, we actively support our local community by advocating for and educating on topics such as spaying and neutering, vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and safe dog handling practices. We also provide financial assistance to pet owners facing medical issues with their dogs, helping them afford necessary care so they can keep their pets, rather than surrendering them to local shelters or considering euthanasia.
