Adoption Process

To start the adoption process, please complete an application. All pets currently in your household must be spayed or neutered and up to date on rabies vaccinations. Additionally, dogs must have current heartworm testing and be on heartworm prevention. Adoption fees range from $75 to $300. We will follow up on the spaying or neutering of pets under six months of age, and these fees include the cost of the procedure as required by our contract. Adult pets are already spayed or neutered at the time of adoption. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, pets must be returned to FOAC.
