Sixteen years ago, I relocated to a rural area where I purchased two miniature horses and adopted two others. In 2007, we established a 501(c)(3) public charity aimed at sharing our horses with disadvantaged children. Our mission has since expanded to include providing care for unwanted horses and educating the public about preventing animal cruelty.
