Adoption Process

The adoption process involves several key steps. First, prospective adopters must complete an application. Next, there will be a screening to evaluate the suitability of the applicants. Following this, a meet and greet session will take place to facilitate interaction between the adopters and the animal. Finally, an adoption contract will be signed to formalize the agreement.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue of AZ in Litchfield Park, AZ

My journey in animal rescue began when I learned about the euthanasia of adoptable pets. I collaborate with local shelters that are at risk of euthanizing animals and focus on those in immediate danger. I believe these pets need assistance the most. We are currently working on expanding our capacity to rescue more animals and to establish partnerships with shelters in other states, facilitating their transport to Safe Haven. All animals in our care receive health checks, are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and trained or socialized.
