Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a consultation and interview with potential adopters during their meeting with the pet. Interested adopters will also be required to complete an adoption application. Once approved, they will finalize the process by signing a contract and paying the adoption fee.

Kneading Kitty's Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue organization located in Maricopa County. We are dedicated to saving cats in urgent need from the public and from kill shelters. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and microchipped before being placed for adoption. Our mission is particularly important given the limited number of rescues in Maricopa County that focus on saving cats. We are passionate about feline welfare and strive to educate the public on the significance of spaying and neutering.
