Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, interested individuals must complete an online application form. An in-home inspection may be conducted before the application is approved. The adoption fees are as follows: for dogs aged five years or older, the fee is $65; for dogs aged one to four years, the fee is $125; for unaltered puppies, the fee is $200; and for altered puppies, the fee is $150. For cats, the fee is $40, and for kittens, the fee is $75.

Volunteers dedicate their time and efforts to reunite lost pets with their owners and to rescue homeless and abandoned dogs and cats. They offer temporary foster care for these animals, administer necessary vaccinations and wellness checks, and help find them loving, compatible, and carefully screened permanent homes through our adoption program. Our Lost/Found Hotline is available 24/7. We provide donated pet food to residents facing financial hardship. Additionally, we conduct microchip and vaccination clinics several times a year to ensure that veterinary care is accessible to all. We also respond to disasters, most recently offering assistance during the flooding in New River, Arizona.
