Rescued Souls of the REZ is an organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of puppies and dogs from the reservation. It is located in Cave Creek, Arizona, and is led by Founder and Director Pam Hartney.

Adopting from Rescued Souls of The Rez

Adoption process

We only adopt to residents of Arizona and do not facilitate same-day adoptions. The adoption process requires the completion of an adoption contract and a deposit of half the adoption fee to hold the puppy. Our puppies are altered, vetted, and microchipped prior to adoption. The remaining half of the adoption fee is due at the time of pickup. A fenced yard is a requirement for adoption, and we do not place high-energy puppies or dogs in apartments, as they are herding breeds that need space to run and play. All puppies are fully vetted before the adoption is finalized, which includes an initial veterinary visit, spaying or neutering, deworming, fecal testing, Bordetella vaccination, three parvo distemper shots, rabies vaccination after four months, microchipping, and 30 days of free pet insurance. The adoption fee is $450.
