Adoption Process

The adoption fees are as follows: $125.00 for larger mixed breed and medium dogs, $150.00 to $175.00 for purebred small dogs, and $175.00 for puppies. Additionally, a home visit is required as part of the adoption process, along with the completion of an adoption agreement.

Cold Wet Noses is a dedicated group of individuals committed to rescuing dogs at risk of euthanasia from Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) when space allows. We focus exclusively on animals from the county shelter's rescue list. Our organization covers all expenses related to spaying or neutering, microchipping, healthcare, and vaccinations. As passionate dog lovers, we strive to help as many animals as possible, providing them with a loving environment where we can understand their personalities and find the best homes for them. All of our dogs and cats are considered part of our family, and we seek to ensure that they have a similar experience in their new homes. We do not place dogs in homes where they will be kept outside all the time, as we do not consider them to be yard dogs. We care deeply for each foster animal and encourage adoptive families to feel the same. If a placement does not work out, we require that the animal be returned to us until the right match is found.
