After relocating to Mena, Arkansas, from Shreveport, Louisiana, I began volunteering with a rescue group due to the significant number of homeless animals and the lack of spaying and neutering in the community. I worked at a low-cost spay and neuter clinic for twelve years, contributing to animal welfare throughout that time. For seven years, I assisted another organization before deciding to establish my own. I wanted to ensure that the dogs we adopted out would go to suitable, loving homes rather than simply placing them without knowing their future environments. Since starting my own organization nearly five years ago, we have successfully facilitated many adoptions, ensuring that our animals find caring families.
