Adoption Process

Adoption Procedure The most effective way to choose a pet is to visit the Adoption Center and meet the animals available for adoption. If you find a pet you would like to adopt, our adoption coordinators will assist you in ensuring that the adoption is a suitable match for both you and the pet. Visiting in person allows for a unique connection between potential adopters and animals, which often begins at the first meeting. You may discover that the ideal pet for you differs from what you initially expected. The pet that will bring you the most satisfaction is often one whose temperament aligns with your personality and home environment, rather than one that simply meets your aesthetic preferences or breed expectations. When you adopt a pet from us, you will receive an animal that has been examined by our veterinarians, spayed or neutered, and given essential vaccinations, including rabies. You will also receive a folder containing the pet's medical history and additional helpful information, along with access to staff members who can answer any questions you may have. We will ask you to commit to returning the animal to us if, for any reason, the adoption does not work out. We have made a significant financial and emotional investment in each pet because we believe they can bring immense joy to their new families. Our foremost concern is to ensure that the animal does not end up in another shelter where it may face the risk of euthanasia.
