Purrfect Match Cat Rescue in Memphis, TN

Purrfect Match is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned, injured, abused, sick, and neglected cats and kittens from the high-kill Tipton County Animal Shelter, as well as addressing urgent cases within our community. Our committed team of volunteers, coming from diverse backgrounds, recognizes the critical need to protect and care for these animals, which motivates our passionate efforts in this important work.

Adoption process

The adoption process begins with an on-site meeting between the cat and the prospective adopter. If it is determined that the cat and the individual are a suitable match, a contract will be signed. This contract includes several important terms: the adopter must ensure the cat is kept up to date on all vaccinations, the cat must be kept indoors, and if the adopter is unable to keep the cat, it must be returned to Purrfect Match. All cats in our care are fully vetted, including spaying or neutering prior to adoption, and are provided with a clean bill of health. Additionally, there is a $75 adoption fee. We also want to assure potential adopters that we will accept any of our cats back at any time and for any reason if the owner can no longer care for them.
