Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a review of the application, which includes personal and veterinary references as well as a background check. Once the application is approved, an in-home meeting will be scheduled. There is a trial period of one to two weeks in the home. After this trial, the adoption contract will be finalized, and an adoption fee will be collected: $200 for dogs over six months of age and $250 for those under six months. All puppies are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and, if applicable, tested for heartworm and found to be free before adoption.

We primarily serve Middle Tennessee and also partner with Animal Rescue Corps for placement services.
