Gems Forever was established to address a pressing need in our community, where there are more animals than local organizations can accommodate. Our members have extensive experience in rescue efforts and have participated in various other organizations. We believe in the importance of collaboration among rescues and shelters to effectively serve our communities. Our mission is to rescue as many animals as possible, promote education and awareness, and foster a cooperative environment to tackle the overarching issues affecting animal welfare.

Adoption process

The adoption process begins with the completion of an application. All animals are fully vetted, current on vaccinations, and spayed or neutered. Adoption fees for cats range from $50 to $75, while fees for dogs range from $150 to $300, depending on factors such as health and age. Contracts must be signed, and individuals wishing to relinquish an animal must first contact Gems Forever. Personal and veterinarian references are required and will be verified. Additionally, all current pets in the household must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed or neutered.
