Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several important steps. An application must be completed, followed by home visits and reference checks. We also arrange meet-and-greet sessions with potential adopters, children, and other pets. If circumstances change, we require that animals be returned to us. A signed adoption contract is mandatory. Additionally, we do not permit our animals to be kept outdoors. Adoption fees are as follows: - $100 for Senior Dogs (9 years and older) - $200 for Adult Dogs - $225 for Puppies - $30 for Senior Cats (10 years and older) - $60 for Adult Cats - $100 for Kittens (or two for $150) For purebred or designer dogs, adoption fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account finder’s fees, veterinary costs, and transportation fees. Each breed will have a baseline fee that reflects these considerations.
