Adoption Process

The adoption process involves several steps. First, interested individuals must complete an adoption application. Next, there will be an interview to discuss the application and assess suitability. Following this, a home visit will be conducted to evaluate the living environment. Finally, a contract will be signed to finalize the adoption agreement.

Our service areas include all of New Jersey, parts of the Delaware Valley, eastern Pennsylvania, Manhattan, and southern New York.

Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary in Millburn, NJ

We are a comprehensive rescue organization that focuses on three key areas of service: senior dogs over the age of seven, dogs that are difficult to place, and providing consulting services to other rescue organizations. Our primary emphasis is on German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes.
