Adoption Process

The standard adoption fee is $300. Once an adoption application is submitted and approved, a meeting with the dog is necessary, along with an introduction to any dogs already in the household. If the introduction is successful, a trial adoption period will follow. If this trial period goes well, the adoption can be finalized. Our adoption contract stipulates that any dog that cannot be kept for any reason must be returned to us. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Georgia Jack Russell Rescue in Conyers, GA

We started several years ago as a small, family-run organization and foster agent for local rescues. Today, we are a dedicated, all-volunteer non-profit rescue and adoption agency based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Our mission is to assist shelters in the Atlanta area by re-homing abused, abandoned, neglected, unwanted, or homeless Jack Russell Terriers and Jack Russell mixes. We strive to place these dogs in loving homes where they can thrive as the breed they are meant to be. We provide temporary medical care and shelter to ensure the well-being of Jack Russell Terriers that enter our rescue system. This includes dogs surrendered by their owners who can no longer care for them, as well as those rescued from animal control. Additionally, we focus on educating pet owners and breeders about the unique needs of Jack Russell Terriers to help prevent the displacement of these dogs.
