Adoption Process

Prospective adopters are required to complete an application, provide a veterinary reference, and agree to a home inspection. The adoption fee is $150, which covers spaying or neutering, vaccinations, a negative heartworm test, and a microchip.

Shelter Angels was established to address the significant issue of Pit Bulls in Georgia shelters. Many shelters refuse to adopt out Pit Bulls, resulting in the euthanasia of thousands each year. Our organization rescues friendly Pit Bulls that face barriers to adoption due to their breed. We provide them with veterinary care and affection, and assist in finding them permanent homes.
