Adoption Process

Adoption fees vary based on the specific dog, starting at $150. Prospective adopters are required to complete an application and receive approval. Once approved, they must sign an adoption contract before taking the dog home. Please note that the adoption fee is non-refundable.

GARD is a licensed non-profit no-kill animal shelter recognized under 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(2). Our mission is to rescue dogs from high-kill shelters and place them in loving homes. We actively promote the spaying and neutering of all companion animals. Our operations are funded entirely through private donations, as we do not receive any state funding. Our team is deeply committed to saving dogs and has made significant personal sacrifices to realize our long-held dream of improving the treatment of companion animals.
