Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an adoption application along with a driver's license. We conduct a background check and verify references, including a veterinary check. A meet and greet is then scheduled to assess how the rescue animal interacts with the potential adoptive family, including their children and other pets. This is followed by a mandatory home visit. Finally, the process is completed with the signing of an adoption contract.

At pAwareness Foundation, we are a committed team of animal advocates focused on making a positive impact on the lives of animals in our community. Our mission is to assist and protect animals in need, regardless of species, while promoting awareness through education, community outreach, and adoption efforts to foster compassion and empathy for all living beings. We take in abandoned and surrendered animals, providing them with food, medical care, and necessary training and behavioral support. We place these animals in loving foster homes for evaluation and decompression, ultimately working to find them suitable and happy forever homes. Through our comprehensive animal rescue services, we aim to raise awareness about the significance of pet adoption and responsible pet ownership. We offer education and training support to both potential and final adopters to ensure a smooth and successful adoption process. Our efforts have benefited a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles. We are open to helping additional species, such as horses, emus, or even dolphins, should we have the facilities to accommodate their needs in the future. We believe that in a world that encourages giving back, no one should be left behind.
