Ayla's Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization located in St. Augustine, Florida, dedicated to addressing animal welfare issues one animal at a time. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we focus on promoting adoption, spaying and neutering, and responsible animal care. In addition to our educational outreach and adoption and fostering programs, we operate a 45-acre sanctuary where animals deemed "unadoptable" can live their lives in peace, love, and dignity.

Adoption process
The adoption process begins with an application that requests background information about the potential pet parent, as well as three non-family member references and a veterinary reference. If the application is approved, a phone interview will be conducted to determine the type of pet the applicant is seeking. Following this, a meet and greet will be arranged at the applicant's home. If the meeting is successful, the applicant will then sign an Adoption Agreement.
