Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, please complete the online application by clicking on the pet's photo. After your application is submitted, you will have the opportunity to meet the pet and arrange a pickup date, which will be scheduled after the spay or neuter procedure. Once these steps are completed, you can take the pet home.

A HOPE in Milton, FL

A HOPE of Santa Rosa County, FL, Inc. was established in response to the urgent needs of animals in our community. A dedicated group of individuals has been working for some time to initiate positive changes for the welfare of local cats and dogs. We are deeply concerned about the growing number of animals entering our local shelter, which has resulted in the highest euthanasia rates in the area. This situation is not solely the shelter's responsibility; it reflects the actions of our friends, families, and neighbors. We are particularly saddened by the abandonment of cats and dogs in our community, as well as the many unaltered animals that roam our streets, contributing to an overwhelming animal population. In light of these challenges, we have decided to take action. Our group may be small, but we have ambitious goals. As we build support and momentum, we plan to prioritize the health of community animals by offering low-cost spay and neuter services. Additionally, we aim to provide resources for pet owners in need, helping them care for their pets as they have always wished. We also intend to educate the wider community about responsible pet ownership, aligning education with the resources we will offer. Ultimately, our mission is to provide hope for the animals and the animal-loving residents of Santa Rosa County. We invite you to support our cause in any way you can. Our animals need us now more than ever.
