About this shelter

Care Love Give Inc./ DBA:Wonder Paws Rescue in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Care Love Give, Inc., operating as Wonder Paws Rescue, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting families facing animal crises and rescuing animals in need. Our mission is to foster a community where all animals receive the care, love, and opportunities necessary to find suitable homes. We are committed to providing veterinary care and combating animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect. Wonder Paws Rescue offers temporary housing, medical care, and rehabilitation for neglected animals within our community, with the ultimate aim of securing permanent, safe, and loving homes for them. We rescue animals from high-kill shelters in Broward and Dade County and accept surrenders directly from individuals. Additionally, we strive to educate the community about the importance of spaying/neutering and adopting pets.

Adopting from this shelter

Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, potential adopters must first complete an adoption application or inquiry. Once the application is approved by the rescue organization, they will have the opportunity to meet the animal. If they decide to proceed with the adoption after the meeting, they will need to fill out a dog or cat adoption contract and pay the associated adoption fee.
