Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with completing a pre-adoption form, which includes consent to conduct a background check on all individuals aged 18 and older living in the household. Additionally, a veterinary check is required to ensure that any existing pets are spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccinations. Adopters must agree to keep the cat indoors and refrain from declawing. The background check typically takes 24 to 48 hours. Following this, a home visit will be conducted, and the cat will be delivered to the new home. An adoption contract will also be provided. The adoption fee is $40 for adult cats and $50 for kittens. This fee includes spaying or neutering, a microchip, and vaccinations, including rabies.
