Adoption Process
The adoption fees for adult cats are $100, with the exception of rare breeds, which start at $150. Kittens are available for $125, again with the exception of rare breeds. Rare breeds include, but are not limited to, Siamese, Persian, Ragdoll, and Birman. The fees for dogs and puppies are determined on a case-by-case basis. To begin the adoption process, potential adopters must ensure they are not on a Do Not Adopt list and complete an adoption inquiry. The process concludes with the signing of an adoption contract and the payment of the adoption fee. Home visits are conducted for dog adoptions. All animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age and/or weight, and cats are tested for FIV and FeLV while dogs are tested for heartworm. Each animal is also microchipped.

Rebels Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) that is committed to rescuing stray, abandoned, neglected, abused, and surrendered animals in the Tampa Bay area and its surroundings. Our mission is to find loving homes for these animals in need. Animals rescued by Rebels Rescue are placed in foster homes where caring individuals provide them with shelter and support. Each animal receives comprehensive veterinary care, including examinations for internal parasites, fleas, and ear mites, along with necessary treatments and vaccinations. Cats and kittens are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, while dogs and puppies are screened for heartworm, with appropriate treatments administered as needed.
