Adoption Process

Our adoption process is designed to ensure a successful match between pets and their new families. To begin, you can either attend one of our adoption events or schedule a meeting to see the pet in person. Next, you will need to complete the Adoption Application, which can be found on our FORMS page. As part of the process, we will contact your references and, if applicable, your landlord. We will also conduct a veterinary check for any current pets you may have and perform a home visit. Once your application is approved, you will complete an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, officially welcoming your new family member. Our adoption fees are as follows: for kittens under 9 months old, the fee is $125; for cats over 9 months old, the fee is $75; and dog adoption fees range from $200 to $400. These fees help cover the costs of fully vetting our animals before adoption and provide ongoing care for those who remain with us permanently. All of our rescued animals are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, tested for common diseases, and have received rabies vaccinations with certificates.
