Forgotten Felines in Westbrook, CT

Forgotten Felines is a cat rescue located in Westbrook, Connecticut, in Middlesex County, where 4 other animal shelters and rescues also operate. Founded in 1992, it was created to meet the growing needs of the homeless cat population along the Connecticut shoreline and is a 100% volunteer-operated, 501(c)(3) no-kill organization. The shelter rescues homeless cats and kittens, cares for them on-site, and works to place them in loving adoptive homes, serving eleven towns along the Connecticut River and shoreline, including Clinton, Essex, Old Saybrook, Madison, and Westbrook. Situated about 25 miles west of New Haven, it welcomes the public to visit and meet adoptable cats at its weekly open house events, held most Saturdays without an appointment.
