Adoption Process

The adoption process includes submitting an application, conducting checks on veterinary and personal references, completing home visits, and paying adoption fees that range from $100 to $300 based on the age of the pet. Additionally, an Adoption Release Contract must be signed.

We serve the following areas: Pinellas County, Pasco County, and Hillsborough County, including the cities of Seminole, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Largo, Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Tampa, and Brandon.

FLUFF Animal Rescue is dedicated to addressing the needs of animal lovers and making a positive impact on the lives of animals. Our mission is to save lives through community awareness, assistance, education, and rescue efforts, tackling issues such as animal overpopulation and shelter overcrowding. Our tagline, "From Lonely and Unloved to Forever Family," reflects our commitment to the animals in our care. With over 150 dedicated fosters and volunteers, we work tirelessly each day to save lives. In 2019, we expanded our operations by opening a 3,000 square foot thrift store, and in May 2020, we further increased our retail presence. Currently, FLUFF Animal Rescue and FLUFF Re-Tail for Rescue operate out of an 8,000 square foot facility in Seminole, Florida. Thanks to the tremendous support from our community and partner rescues, we have become one of the leading animal rescues in the area. We are grateful to our diverse network of supporters, which includes monetary and item donors, service providers, transporters, social media cross-posters, retail staff, animal care workers, goods receivers, and many others. Their contributions of time, resources, and skills are essential to the success of FLUFF Animal Rescue and FLUFF Re-Tail for Rescue as we continue our mission to save lives.
