Adoption Process

Most of our cats are located in foster homes or at local Petco and PetSmart stores. When someone finds a cat or kitten they are interested in, they can contact us to complete an application. After the application is filled out, we verify the information provided. If approved, the cat or kitten will be spayed or neutered before being taken to the new owner's home. We charge a fee of $50 for adult cats and $65 for kittens, which covers the costs of spaying or neutering, testing, and vaccinations.

We have been an organization for over 20 years and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit shortly thereafter. Our primary objective is to spay and neuter as many cats as possible to help reduce overpopulation. We believe that sterilization is the most effective solution. We often encounter kittens or friendly cats that have been abandoned in our feeding areas. We take these animals to a veterinarian to ensure they are healthy. If they are, we either place them in a Petco location or in foster homes until we can find them permanent homes. Our organization conducts trap-neuter-return (TNR) efforts to fix cats and feeds colonies of cats that we have already spayed or neutered. To date, we have successfully sterilized over 6,000 cats. However, our adoption rates are not as high as our spay/neuter figures, primarily due to the lack of a shelter and limited public visibility.
