Established in 1937, the Society is the oldest and largest animal welfare agency in Central Florida, recognized for its commitment to the well-being of animals. As an open-door facility, we do not impose time limits on how long animals can stay in our care while awaiting adoption. We proudly maintain a 100% adoption rate for animals that are healthy and friendly. Our mission is to promote responsible human behavior toward animals, and our vision is a future where our services are no longer needed.
