Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with an online application that requires information on veterinary care and three personal references. Once the application is approved, the applicant may meet dogs at our facility that match their lifestyle. If a dog is selected, we arrange for a house visit to introduce the dog to the applicant's home environment. For applicants residing outside our area, a volunteer will conduct the house visit as part of the initial application process. The adoption fee is typically $400 for a younger dog, which includes a lifetime money-back guarantee. There is also a $5,000 fine if the dog is transferred to another individual.
