Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several steps: first, you submit an application. Next, we conduct reference checks, followed by a home visit and a veterinary check. After these evaluations, a meet and greet with the pet is scheduled. Finally, a contract is signed, and the adoption fee is determined based on the age of the pet.

Second Chance Animal Rescue in Gates Mills, OH

Our organization primarily focuses on pit bulls and pit bull mixes, particularly those with medical needs or those that have been in shelters for extended periods. One of my own adopted dogs was in a shelter for nearly a year and was consistently overlooked, despite being an exceptional companion. I founded this rescue with the aim of helping other dogs like her who deserve a chance at a loving home.
