Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a review of the adoption application. If the application is approved, the adopter will need to complete the Adoption Agreement. All animals are spayed or neutered before adoption. The adoption fees are as follows: $80.00 for felines under one year and $50.00 for felines over one year.

Spilled Milk Cat Sanctuary in Amelia, OH

Spilled Milk Cat Sanctuary was established in response to the discontinuation of a local veterinarian's Cat Adoption Program, which left many cats without a home and uncertain futures. After formalizing our organization and integrating the remaining cats into our Adoption Program, we expanded our efforts to assist homeless cats in the community. For those cats that cannot be adopted due to medical or socialization challenges, we offer a Cat Sanctuary Program. This program provides a safe and caring environment where these cats have indoor and outdoor access within a communal space and can receive veterinary care as needed.
