Adoption Process

The adoption process includes completing a brief application, participating in an interview, attending meet and greet sessions, and ensuring mandatory spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping of the pet.

City of Las Vegas Animal Care Center in Las Vegas, NM

We operate as the municipal animal shelter for the City of Las Vegas, working in partnership with the county to deliver animal services. As a small shelter, we consistently reach capacity and strive to rehome as many friendly and adoptable dogs as possible. Although we have not had to euthanize animals due to space constraints, our increasing numbers present significant challenges. Our staff is committed and compassionate, dedicated to the well-being of the animals in our care.
