Adoption Process

The adoption process involves several steps, including the submission of an application, which will be reviewed and vetted. Additionally, home visits are conducted as part of the process. Please note that fees vary based on the breed and age of the animal. A contract will also be required upon adoption.

NM K-911 in Rio Rancho, NM

NM K-911 is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to animal rescue. Our mission is to save animals that are at immediate risk of euthanasia in high-kill shelters across our state. All animals we rescue receive veterinary care and are placed in foster homes, where they are evaluated and learn to adapt to a family environment before being made available for adoption.
