Mary Hall Ruddiman Canine Shelter, Inc. in Marion, KY

In 2007, Mary Hall Ruddiman passed away, bequeathing the majority of her estate to Crittenden County to establish a no-kill animal shelter. Her will outlined specific provisions for the care of the animals, and it has taken considerable effort to reach our current stage. We officially opened our doors on December 6, 2010. To continue fulfilling Mary Hall's vision, we rely on the support of the community. Donations and volunteers are essential and greatly appreciated. We collaborate closely with the Crittenden County Animal Shelter to provide animals with a second chance. Due to space limitations and our no-kill policy, we can only accept animals from the county shelter and are unable to take in animals directly from the public.

Adoption process

The adoption fee is $80, which covers the cost of spaying or neutering, all vaccinations, a heartworm test, a county dog license, and deworming.
