Adoption Process

The minimum adoption fee is $50, and an adoption contract is required. If you would like to review the contract, please let me know. All of our requirements are outlined within the contract.

We serve the Greater Cincinnati area, which includes Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana.

Star Animal Rescue in Fort Mitchell, KY

We operate as a network of foster homes dedicated to rescuing cats, rather than through a physical facility or storefront. Our volunteers take in cats, providing them with care, nourishment, and a safe environment. We cover all expenses related to vaccinations and spaying/neutering. Our initiative arose from the lack of no-kill shelters in Kentucky and the overwhelming number of cats at existing rescues, which limited their ability to assist us. Consequently, we chose to establish our own network. Additionally, we advocate against animal cruelty.
