Adoption Process

To adopt your new best friend, please follow our straightforward four-step process: First, complete the HAH Adoption Application. Once we receive your application, we will begin processing it and will reach out to you via email or phone. As our team consists of volunteers, we aim to respond within 48 hours, and we appreciate your patience during this time. If your application is approved, we will arrange a home visit. This visit allows you to meet the dog you are interested in adopting. Since we operate as a foster-based rescue without a physical location, it is important for us to respect the privacy of our foster families. Finally, after the home visit, you will need to accept the Have A Heart adoption contract to finalize the adoption of your new best friend.
