Champaign Area Trap Spay Neuter and Adoption Program in Champaign, IL

Founded in 2005, CATsNAP is a non-profit organization that operates on a volunteer basis, dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and enhancing animal welfare in the greater Champaign County, Illinois area. We strongly advocate for the spaying and neutering of animals, regardless of breed, sex, or age. Our program provides spay and neuter assistance, as well as basic veterinary care, including flea and parasite treatments and routine vaccinations, for needy or unowned animals. Additionally, we offer humane education to community and civic groups about responsible animal care and the significance of spaying and neutering in controlling the pet population. Our limited intake, no-kill adoption program primarily transfers animals from municipal animal control facilities. All animals are cared for in foster homes or at partner adoption sites, and we do not euthanize animals for space. At CATsNAP, our mission is to promote successful pet ownership and to place animals in loving, pet-friendly homes.
