Bond County Humane Society in Greenville, IL

The Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) was established in 2003 by Rachel and Dennis Hundsdorfer, along with a small group of dedicated citizens. The organization's mission is to provide temporary shelter for stray, unwanted, and neglected cats and dogs until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Additionally, BCHS aims to address pet overpopulation through affordable spay and neuter programs. We offer low-cost spay and neuter services for companion animals as well as programs for feral, free-roaming cats. BCHS is also committed to humane education, collaborating with volunteers from surrounding counties to present programs in elementary and high schools. The organization was created in response to the need for improved animal welfare in Bond County.
