Help Save Pets

Adoption Process

The adoption process includes a rehoming fee of $50, which may be reduced to $40 if there is an excess of kittens. An adoption contract must be agreed upon and signed prior to releasing any animal. All adopted animals must be spayed or neutered before they are placed in a new home, and all existing pets in the household must also be spayed or neutered. Declawing is not permitted. The adopter must agree to accommodate the animal's specific needs, such as providing an indoor environment, ensuring no small children are present, and maintaining a quiet home. Furthermore, adopters must have a carrier available for transporting the animal. All adopters must be at least 18 years old and maintain a smoke-free home.

Service Areas

The service area includes Treasure Valley, Idaho, with the largest cities being Boise, Meridian, and Nampa.

Happy Jack Cats, Inc. in Meridian, ID

We provide clean, healthy, and nurturing environments, along with food, shelter, and temporary housing in foster homes for kittens that have been abused, abandoned, orphaned, or are strays until they can be adopted. We encourage public health and safety by promoting vaccinations, including rabies. We educate the community on animal welfare issues. Our mission is to find homes for cats and kittens to help reduce the need for euthanasia. We advocate for the spaying and neutering of all cats and kittens. Our organization was founded in response to the alarming statistic that one out of every twelve cats born does not find a permanent home, leading to hundreds of cats being euthanized every hour in the U.S. due to a lack of available homes. We are dedicated to making a difference by saving lives.
