Adoption Process

Dog adoptions are $150 and include age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, microchipping, spaying or neutering, rabies vaccination, a heartworm test for dogs over six months, and heartworm prevention for dogs over four months. Cat adoptions are $85 and cover FIV/FeLV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, microchipping, spaying or neutering, and rabies vaccination. We provide adoption applications in our office. If you are traveling from out of town and adopt a puppy, you may sign a contract allowing you to have the animal spayed or neutered at six months of age instead of returning for the procedure. If you rent your home, please bring a copy of your lease that outlines any restrictions.
