Southern Animal Welfare League is a non-profit pet rescue organization dedicated to preventing the suffering, neglect, and abuse of companion animals in Chester County, South Carolina. We focus on educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering pets and provide a low or no-cost spay and neuter program for those who require financial assistance. Our efforts include rescuing animals that are abandoned or left in local kill shelters, offering them a safe haven and veterinary care before transferring them to our "no kill" partner organizations in the northeast. Additionally, we provide financial assistance for animals experiencing emergency health crises while at our underfunded local kill shelter.
