City of Dothan Animal Shelter in Dothan, AL
Dothan Animal Control is dedicated to the care and management of animals. We provide a 20-day period for animals to be adopted. Our services include euthanasia when necessary, as well as facilitating adoptions to help find permanent homes for animals in our care.

Adoption process
The adoption fee for all animals is $15, which requires a signed contract agreeing to spay or neuter the pet at the adopter's expense. We facilitate out-of-state adoptions; however, the adopter is solely responsible for transportation and adoption logistics. Please note that we are unable to place any animal on hold.
