Adoption Process

The adoption fees are $90 for dogs and $80 for cats, which contribute to covering medical and boarding expenses. The adoption fee for dogs includes a comprehensive examination, vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordetella, Rabies), spaying or neutering, heartworm testing, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and, in some cases, a skin scrape. For cats, the adoption fee covers a full examination (Feline Leukemia/FIV testing, FVRCP), spaying or neutering, rabies vaccination, deworming, and flea prevention. To adopt a pet, you must complete an adoption application. You can obtain a paper application at the shelter or request that one be emailed to you by contacting the shelter via email.
